Contact Collision Renew
We know the aftermath of a wreck is stressful enough without waiting days for a callback. Drop us a line below, and we’ll get you the answers you need to get your vehicle back on the road.
What We Can Help You With
We handle the friction of auto restoration every single day. We want to hear from you if you’re dealing with actual collision recovery hurdles. Reach out if you need guidance on:
- Navigating the insurance claim process and supplement approvals.
- Post-collision care guidelines for fresh clear coat and body panels.
- Identifying hidden mechanical damage after a structural impact.
- Document requirements for total loss settlements or replacement purchases.
What We Ignore
Our inbox is for real drivers and restoration professionals. We delete SEO pitches. We ignore link exchange requests. We don’t provide blind repair estimates for a dented bumper without high-resolution photos, a VIN, and a teardown report.
Precision requires data.
Response Times and Direct Contact
We check this inbox constantly. Expect a real reply from our team within 48 hours on weekdays. Weekend inquiries get sorted first thing Monday morning.

Before You Write Us: Common Collision Questions
We get hundreds of emails a month. Many drivers face the exact same roadblocks. Review these operational realities before you hit send. You’ll likely find your answer right here.
Where do I get a claim number?
Your insurance carrier provides this, not the body shop. You must file the initial claim with your agent or through your provider’s app. Once they issue that specific multi-digit claim number, bring it to us. We use that number to route all estimates, supplement requests, and rental car approvals directly to your adjuster.
Will you order parts before I drop off my vehicle?
Usually, no. We order parts after a complete teardown. Modern vehicles hide extensive damage behind plastic bumper covers. If we order parts based solely on a visual walk-around, we’ll inevitably miss broken brackets, crushed impact bars, or bent radiator supports. We tear the car down. We write a precise supplement. We order exactly what the car actually needs.
Are you open on Saturday?
We reserve weekends for shop maintenance and heavy structural frame pulls. Our front office is closed on Saturdays. If you need to drop off a vehicle over the weekend, use the secure key drop box by the main bay doors. We’ll process your intake paperwork on Monday morning.
How do I care for my fresh paint?
Leave it alone.
Fresh automotive clear coat needs time to outgas and cure completely. Don’t take your repaired vehicle through an automatic car wash with spinning brushes for at least 60 days. Hand wash only. Use a mild soap. Skip the wax entirely until the third month. Rushing this process traps solvents under the surface and ruins the finish.
Can you set up my rental car?
We facilitate the handoff. We don’t pay for the rental. If your insurance policy includes rental coverage, your adjuster will set up a direct bill with a local agency. We coordinate with them so your rental is waiting when you drop off your damaged vehicle. Check your specific policy limits first. Most carriers cap coverage at 30 days.
Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?
This depends entirely on your insurance policy. We prefer Original Equipment Manufacturer parts. They fit correctly. They crash-test predictably. However, most standard insurance policies mandate the use of aftermarket or recycled parts to keep costs down.
We inspect every single aftermarket part that arrives. If it doesn’t fit our strict tolerances, we reject it. We then force the insurance company to pay for the OEM equivalent. We fight that battle for you.
What about hidden mechanical damage?
A collision rarely stops at the sheet metal. Front-end impacts routinely damage air conditioning condensers, pinch wiring harnesses, and misalign steering racks. We don’t just make the car look pretty. We scan the onboard computer for fault codes before and after the repair. We check the mechanical systems. We ensure the vehicle is structurally and electronically safe to drive.
